Richmond trade updates

Richmond has been active in the AFL 2024 Trade Period, making several significant moves. The Tigers recently traded Shai Bolton to Fremantle, receiving picks 10, 11, and 18 in return while sending back pick 14 and a future third-round pick. This trade allows Fremantle to strengthen their forward line with Bolton, while Richmond gains three valuable first-round picks to support their rebuilding efforts.

Another notable deal involves Dan Rioli, who moved to Gold Coast along with several late-round picks. In exchange, Richmond received picks 6 and 23, increasing their early draft capital. Additionally, Richmond’s Liam Baker was traded to West Coast as part of a three-team deal involving Carlton, which saw Richmond acquire pick 14 in the process.

The club has also parted with Jack Graham, who joined West Coast for a second-round compensation pick. These trades provide Richmond with a substantial draft hand, setting the stage for their future roster development
